Frequently Asked Questions

I offer individual therapy, couples counseling, and family therapy in a supportive and confidential setting. I help clients work through anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, and major life transitions, with options for both in-person and online sessions.

Getting started is easy. You can reach out through the contact form on this website, send an email, or call to schedule an initial consultation. During our first session, we’ll talk about your goals, answer any questions you may have, and decide together on the best path forward.
-
During the first session, we’ll spend time getting to know each other and talking about what brings you to therapy. You’ll have the opportunity to share as much or as little as you feel comfortable with about your experiences, concerns, and goals. I may ask some questions to better understand your background and what kind of support would be most helpful for you.
The first session is also a chance for you to ask questions about the therapy process and see if it feels like a good fit. Together, we’ll begin to identify goals and discuss how we might work toward them in future sessions. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you feel heard, respected, and comfortable moving at your own pace.
-
What makes my approach different is my strong focus on trauma-informed care and building genuine, trusting relationships with my clients. I understand that many people come to therapy after experiences that have made it difficult to feel safe, open, or understood. Because of this, I prioritize creating a space where you feel respected, heard, and never judged.
Rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach, I take the time to understand your story and move at a pace that feels comfortable for you. My goal is to help you feel supported while we work together to build insight, resilience, and lasting change.
