Therapy that’s thoughtful, direct, and deeply human.
Hi, I’m Jamie. I’m a therapist in Salt Lake City, UT who believes that our stories matter—and that healing often begins when we feel safe enough to share them. I’ve always had a deep interest in understanding people and what shapes their experiences.
Clients often tell me they appreciate my down-to-earth, relatable approach, and I value creating a space that feels comfortable, genuine, and free of judgment.
My understanding of this work also comes from lived experience. I’ve personally navigated trauma and significant life transitions, and as a woman in midlife myself, I understand some of the changes this season can bring—from shifting relationships and an emptying nest to hormonal changes and questions about what comes next.
Those experiences are my own, and I don’t assume that someone else’s story looks like mine. But they have shaped the way I show up as a therapist—with empathy, openness, and a genuine respect for how complex change can be.
Helping people better understand their own stories is meaningful work that I’m truly honored to do.
Whether you’re navigating past trauma, relationship challenges, or a significant life transition, I see therapy as a collaborative process where we work together to understand what’s keeping you stuck, change patterns that are no longer working, and move toward greater clarity, connection, and confidence.
Training & Approach
I use a trauma-informed, attachment-based approach to help clients better understand the patterns shaping how they feel, respond, and connect in their relationships.
I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), IFS (Internal Family Systems) and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), evidence-based approaches that support healing from trauma and help individuals and couples create more secure, connected relationships.
